Matching the ink is the key

When printing on special materials such as plastic films, it is necessary to use dedicated ink to ensure good adhesion of the ink. At the same time, control the viscosity and fluidity of the ink well. If the viscosity is too high, the ink transfer will be difficult and uneven ink color is likely to occur. If the viscosity is too low, the ink is prone to diffusion, causing the edges of the graphics and text to become blurred. Fine-tune the printing parameters
The printing parameters of the PS plate printing machine are numerous and need to be finely adjusted. Printing pressure is one of the key parameters. If the pressure is too low, the ink cannot be fully transferred to the substrate, resulting in a pale ink color. Excessive pressure will accelerate the wear of the printing plate and may cause deformation of the graphics and text. Based on factors such as the thickness of the substrate and the type of PS plate, the printing pressure is precisely set with the help of a pressure regulating device. The paper feeding speed also needs to be reasonably controlled to match the printing speed, ensuring smooth paper transportation and avoiding paper jams or unstable paper transportation that may affect the printing registration accuracy. In addition, the synchronization of the operation of the printing plate cylinder and the impression cylinder should be debugged to ensure their coordinated work and achieve precise printing.
Regularly maintain the equipment
The stable operation of PS plate printing machines is the guarantee of high-quality printing. Regularly clean the equipment to remove surface dust and ink residues to prevent impurities from entering mechanical components and affecting the accuracy of the equipment. Lubricate transmission components such as gears and chains to reduce wear and ensure stable power transmission. Regularly inspect the surface conditions of the printing plate cylinder and the impression cylinder. If there is any wear, repair or replace them in time.
