During the production process of self-adhesive printing, the noise generated by self-adhesive printing machinery not only affects the working environment, but also may damage the hearing of operators if they are exposed to a high-noise environment for a long time. It is very necessary to effectively deal with the noise problem of non-drying offset printing machines, and efforts can be made from the following multiple aspects.
Inspect the equipment components
Mechanical transmission components: Wear of mechanical transmission components is a common cause of noise generation. When the self-adhesive printing machinery is in operation, check the gears, chains, belts and other components. If the gears are worn and the tooth surfaces are uneven, a knocking sound will be produced during operation. It can be judged by observing whether there are obvious wear marks on the gear surface and whether there is any jamming during operation. If any problems are found, replace the severely worn gears in time and add an appropriate amount of lubricating oil to the gears regularly to reduce friction noise. If the chain is loose or the links are worn out, it will also make noise. The tension of the chain should be adjusted regularly, and worn chain links should be replaced in time to ensure the smooth operation of the chain. For belt drive systems, check whether the belts are aged or loose. Aged belts have reduced elasticity, are prone to slipping and generating noise, and need to be replaced in a timely manner. When the belt is loose, the tension of the belt can be increased by adjusting the tensioner pulley.
Motor and bearings: The motor is the power source of the self-adhesive printing machinery. If the motor bearing is damaged, it will produce a sharp noise. Check the temperature of the motor during operation. If the temperature is too high and accompanied by abnormal noise, it is very likely to be a bearing problem. A stethoscope or other tools can be used to listen to the sound of the bearing's operation. If there is any abnormal noise, the bearing needs to be replaced. At the same time, make sure the motor is installed firmly to avoid noise caused by motor vibration. In addition, long-term operation of the motor may cause rotor imbalance and also lead to noise. At this time, dynamic balance correction of the rotor is required.
Take sound insulation measures
Equipment sound insulation cover: Install a dedicated sound insulation cover for self-adhesive printing machinery. The sound insulation cover is made of sound-absorbing materials, such as sound-absorbing cotton and damping sound insulation boards. These materials can effectively absorb the noise generated by the equipment and reduce the spread of noise. When designing the sound insulation cover, the heat dissipation requirements of the equipment should be taken into consideration. Ventilation openings should be reasonably set up and cooling fans installed to ensure the normal operating temperature of the equipment.
Sound insulation treatment in the workshop: Carry out sound insulation renovation on the entire printing workshop. Install sound-absorbing boards on the workshop walls and lay sound insulation pads on the floor to reduce noise reflection. At the same time, double-layer soundproof glass doors and Windows are installed. After closing the doors and Windows, they can effectively prevent the noise inside the workshop from spreading outward, improving the noise level of the workshop's external environment.
Optimize the operation process
Standardized operation of self-adhesive printing machinery by operators can also reduce noise to a certain extent. When starting the equipment, avoid loading excessive loads instantaneously. Gradually increase the operating speed of the equipment to prevent abnormal noise from the motor due to excessive instantaneous current. During the printing process, the printing pressure should be reasonably adjusted according to the thickness of the self-adhesive material and the complexity of the printing pattern. Excessive pressure may cause uneven force on mechanical components and generate noise. Regular maintenance and upkeep of the equipment, timely cleaning of dust and debris inside the equipment to keep it clean, also helps to reduce noise generation. Through the above multi-faceted measures, the noise problem of self-adhesive printing machinery can be effectively addressed, creating a favorable working environment.
